RW NEWS
Since there hasn't been much happening on here...or with the band for that matter in quite some time I figure we oughta give a heads up to everyone out there wondering about the state of RW, and by everyone I mean our handful of friends that care about our tunes.
So here is the jist of it. Right now we aren't doing much with the music due to some of our members being away for awhile doing their own thing. Right now Grant is in Vancouver expanding his mind in University and doing his thing with Treelines, Connor is going to school as well and gettin ready to get his degree in Psychology this year, Dan finished up his degree last summer and took the year off to travel the world. Right now he is lost in the jungles of Laos somewhere. Derrek is on the road to becoming a responsible adult with a slick painting company lined up for him and making big purchases like trucks and homes and that kinda shit. Ramsay is also takin some time to figure out what he wants to do. Right now his options are go back to his welding job, get into school and fill his mind, or see how much further the EI train will take him. Everyone feel free to email in and cast your votes. Also, I feel it's important to mention what our honorary member/roadies Clayton is doing...which is getting his life together in Van at BCIT doing some drafting type program on the road to his degree as well. So yea with all that going on the band has taken a little bit of a backseat which is a bummer.
No need to fret though ladies and germs, before we all went our seperate ways for a bit we were well on the way to finishing up some songs for a full length. We have quite a bit of material waiting in the wings just itching to get unleashed in the form of some hit weed culture tunes. We were really pushing to get it recorded before we took the hiatus but just couldn't get it done. Mostly due to the fact our drummer lives several hours away and weed/booze took over many of the other band members lives. Sometime before the end of 2012 though we should put some new stuff out whether it be a short EP or a full length you ratbastards will have some new stuff to listen too.
So that's what is going on and we're all really bummed/sorry we couldn't get any new tunes out sooner but that's the way the wheel spins sometimes.
We'll be back and going nowhere as usual. As always Ratwheel loves you all <3

Rat kings are phenomena said to arise when a number of rats become intertwined at their tails, which become stuck together with blood, dirt, ice, excrement or simply knotted.
